The Annual Spiro Tribute Lecture is sponsored by the Pears Foundation to celebrate the tremendous work of Robin (z”l) and Nitza Spiro and their contribution to Jewish cultural life in Britain over the last 40+ years.
David Quarrey was British Ambassador in Israel and is now the permanent British representative to NATO , based in Brussels. Previously he served as the Prime Minister’s adviser on International Affairs and- was Deputy National Security Adviser. He also served as a director of Near East and North Africa desk in the Foreign Office. Aldo Henriquez is an expert on Culture and in Israel he was working for the British Council.
