Some of us air our strong feelings about public things which we deem wrong, over dinners with friends or just feel aggravated within ourselves. Others are more gutsy and actually take action. We are therefore particularly proud of Yvonne Green who did just that in order to create awareness - amongst the thousands of spectators at the London Olympics - of the 11 Israeli athletes murdered in the Munich Games of 1972 (as the officials refused to do). We have a special reason to be proud as Yvonne, through her beautiful award-winning poetry has been closely connected with the work of the Spiro Ark for many years.
