A letter of appreciation By Professor Peter Appelbaum after his very successful book launch "Loyal Sons" at the Spiro Ark on January 21st 2015

My book launch of 'Loyal Sons' (published by Vallentine-Mitchell) went off wonderfully well last night January 21 in London. The London launch of my first book in the series was a disaster so I did not know what to think when Nitza Spiro has responded to the request of the publishers to get involved in the launch.
It immediately became apparent that with Nitza and her staff I was dealing with are true professionals. She called me up in the US for preliminary discussions and then immediately, with my help, constructed an excellent web page (which was advertised well throughout, especially the month before the launch), she invited Dr. Gideon Reuveni director of Centre for German Jewish Studies, Sussex University to chair the evening and Jan Hackstein Commander Naval Attache of the German embassy who concluded the event. The liaisons between my wife (who assists me in all my endeavours) and Nitza were extremely cordial, and whenever we made a suggestion she responded at once.
Upon our arrival in London, Nitza suggested reimbursement for a much-appreciated taxi ride from our hotel in downtown London to the launch site in East Finchley, and also arranged for transportation back after the event. My slide presentation was loaded professionally and went flawlessly. When I had some problems with the remote, one of Spiro Ark's staff solved the problem.
Forty people showed up, thirty books were sold, and the response to my presentation was very positive. In all, I have only compliments for a job very well done. I would recommend Spiro Ark most highly: indeed I will be contacting them myself for any future book launches in the UK.
