Soprano
Tal was born in Israel in 1988 and began taking piano lessons at the age of seven at the local public conservatory. Eight years later she was admitted as a singer and pianist to the Thelma Yellin High-School of Arts. Taking part in chamber ensembles, she participated twice in the International Chamber Music Festival in Kfar Blum, and also sang with the Thelma Yellin symphony orchestra. Tal participated regularly in master classes at the Jerusalem Music Centre. Tal received twice the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarship, as well as the Ronen Foundation award. During her final year at high-school she was one of the two singers in Israel to win the title of an "Outstanding Musician" from the National Service. This enabled her to pursue her music studies at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. During her National Service Tal performed on a regular basis to soldiers and officers all over the country.
For the last 3 years Tal is a student of soprano Nelly Miticioiu.
Tal is now an undergraduate music student at The University of Oxford which has also given her the status and scholarship of a "Choral Award".
