'The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler' by J.K. Harrison
The film tells us the true story of Irena Sendler, a Polish Catholic social worker in the early 1940's, who smuggled Jewish children out of the Warsaw ghetto and as a result saved approximately 2500 of them. The screening has been organised in collaboration with the Spiro Ark.
